Martin Margiela hat im Jahr 1995 eine Sommerkollektion entworfen für die er Fotos von vintage Kleidung verwendete. Ich habe im Zuge meiner Zusammenarbeit mit Margiela für diese Kollektion unter anderem einen Herrenwintermantel fotografiert, der auf einen leichten Sommerstoff gedruckt und folglich zu einem Sommermantel wurde. Man trug auf eine gewisse Art die Illusion einer Kleidung. Das Foto, das ich für Reflecting Fashion ausgesucht habe ist ein Selbstporträt in solch einem Mantel. Ich bin also doppelte Autorin dieses Bildes.

Martin Margiela had created in 1995 a summer collection for which he used photos of vintage clothes. In the process of my collaboration with Martin Margiela I had photographed a men’s wintercoat that was printed on a summer fabric and consequently became a women’s summer coat. In a certain way one wore the illlusion of a coat. The photo I chose for Reflecting Fashion is a self portrait in such a coat. Therefore I am the double author of this image.
